The Azeros Rx Discount Card is free and can be used for generic and brand name drug purchases. Azeros has partnered with Envision Rx, a subsidiary of Rite Aid.
-
Who can use the card?
The program allows for unlimited use of the card by the member and his/her family.
-
What pharmacies participate in the program?
All major pharmacies accept the card. The list includes Rite Aid, CVS, Walmart, Walgreens, Wegmans, and Tops, which are among more than 60,000 U.S. pharmacy locations.
-
Can you tell me beforehand how much the drug will cost?
Pricing can be obtained by calling the Envision Pharmacy & Member help desk at 1-877-684-0032 or click here.
-
Will I ever pay more for a drug than I would without the card?
No. Cardholders will always pay the LOWER of the Envision contracted price or the pharmacy’s usual and customary price.
-
Will the discounted drug price be the same at every pharmacy?
No. Prescription drug prices vary by pharmacy due to differences in their respective wholesale costs.
-
Do I have to pay at the time of purchase?
Yes. The pharmacy will be receiving no insurance reimbursement.
-
Can I use this card if I have insurance?
Yes, but only in the following circumstances:
- • The drug is not covered (e.g. lifestyle drug) by your insurance plan.
- • You have a maximum drug benefit that has been exceeded such that all future costs in the plan year must be paid by you at 100%.
- • Your plan has a high annual deductible (e.g. $500) that you don’t believe will be reached.
- • Your plan has a co-pay (e.g. $20) that exceeds the cost of the prescription (e.g. $10). You pay the lesser amount because of the discount card.
